43 / Help me?

Edition 43

Hello Reader,

Last night, I had the realisation that some of my old habits were starting to creep back into my life. What old habits? Well, sitting at my desk from 8pm onwards was a habit that didn't serve me well.

I was ALWAYS doing this, and a few years ago, I consciously decided to try and switch off at the end of the day, and not creep back up the stairs to my computer and squeeze more out of my day. Obviously there are times where I need to do this, but as a Dad of two young children, I really want to be there for them as much as I possibly can.

So where do you come into this?

Well, a lot of the people I have been interviewing over the last few years, fall into what I call 'my favourite timezone' and that tends to be European day time, and APAC evening time. Nearly all of the interviews that you have heard with guests have all happened during my working day. This is great for me, but it means we are missing out on potential guests in timezones that I just physically can't get to do. Even though I would love to.

Last night, I interviewed someone from the Bay area in California, and it was an awesome conversation, but it was incredibly stressful with my children refusing to go to bed beforehand (!).

I wanted to put this out to the newsletter, to see if there are people reading here, that might be interested in helping us out on the podcast and conducting interviews in that timezone (US West Coast, South America).
